We have always had a great experience at the Wood Carte. Most recently we made a larger purchase for outdoor furniture and the customer service was just superb. We are not local to the area, but after trying to find something closer to our home, we just could not find anything that compared to the quality that the wood carte has to offer. Jeremy could not have been more helpful - he went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and even provided us with showroom photos and examples due to our distance to the store. They even accommodated our travel schedule and held the items for our convenience. Between quality of their items and customer service, you cannot find a better place for your furniture needs.

We love their bookcases. They come in a variety of sizes. You can get them unpainted or finished in a variety of colors. They do a great job.

Staff is always helpful. If looking for a dining room or kitchen table - great options.

Recently stopped in to look at some furnishings for a cabin. I was very impressed with the outdoor furniture. Then I was blown away by their indoor Amish build wood furniture. The styles fit very well in the cabin design. Met the team and Ashley did an amazing job helping us pick out some pieces of furniture. This is the kind of place you want to do business with. Locally owned well made Amish wood furniture. You pay for quality, but this stuff should last generations.

Hand crafter furniture the quality is amazing.

Amazingly well crafted, Amish made furniture and the quality and selection are not found anywhere else in the Glens Falls/Lake George region! We were very pleased with the piece we selected. Once purchased, it was removed from the floor and held aside for us to pick up at a later time. Very responsive and courteous, knowledgeable staff who took their time with us from beginning to end of the transaction!

Our new favorite furniture store! From here on out I will buy any furniture I need from The Wood Carte! We live about 2 hours away and I was looking for a TV stand. The owner was so helpful and texted me pictures of a few options before we went. When we got there we left not only with the TV stand but with a dining room table set. When we got home we realized the table was too big for our space. The Wood Carte was absolutely fantastic and let us trade it in for a size that fit our space with absolutely no problem at all. Fun store and can custom tweak their designs to what you want as long as you are willing to wait a while for a fine product. EDITED to agree w/owner's response.

Love them, very friendly, easy to shop, love all the products, am obsessed with the artistry of some of the wood work. My sister and I have purchased several pieces and love them all. Well worth the production wait.

My wife and I went to 'look' at some furniture and immediatley fell in love with most of the store. Purchased an amazing dining room set and a island cart for our kitchen. We could have spent less - but the quality is above an beyond what we have seen elsewhere. If you like really well built, Rustic furniture, this is your place.

Best place to go if you want quality real wood furniture. You will never see particle board, and they are transparent with what the furniture is made of. I was impressed that everything is almost Amish Made, about 95%. Almost every room has a piece, and still looks brand new from over the years. It's also not just rustic furniture, many catalogs to order furniture as well!

We have purchased chairs, stools, tables, a desk, dressers, mirrors, beds, night stands, a coffee table, and club chairs & ottomans from the Wood Carte. Each piece was custom ordered (wood type, stain color, fabric, table height) and we couldn't be happier. The sales staff was helpful, knowledgeable, responsive, and not at all pushy. The ordering process was simple (even though it has to be hand-written on order forms for the Amish craftsmen) and quick. The order was ready earlier than expected and they were willing to store the items until our new construction home was completed. When we picked up the furniture they helped wrap and carefully load the furniture for the trip back to NC. The furniture is beautiful, sturdy, and comfortable...and the Wood Carte team and the Amish craftsmen are top notch. We will be back!

I’m redecorating my living room and I have a few pieces from the Wood Carte. I really love the quality of Amish made wood furniture. I usually shop for it in Lancaster, PA; however, on a recent visit to the Lake George area I was introduced to the Wood Carte. Their selection is outstanding. The prices were higher than comparable items I’ve seen in PA. For example, I have a log cabin lamp (see picture) I purchased at the Intercourse , PA Farmer’s Market for $175. The same lamp was $299 at the Wood Carte. That said, many of the items here are one-of-a-kind. The unique qualities of each pice of wood come through in the finished products and they are very beautiful and well constructed, If you find something you like, chances are some one else will too. Take it home when you see it! I will be returning next time I’m in the area.

Quality furniture and great customer service.

I went in to purchase some finishes.. they went out of their way to provide me what I was looking for, were incredibly helpful, and very fair on price. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again. Edit: A month later I went in and purchased 6 different cans of stain. Stupid me for not checking the date of manufacture as all of them were between 6 and 12 years old (the General Finishes water based stain has a shelf life of one year). None of them were good anymore, they were either chunky or gritty. I did what I could to try to make them work, and figured I wouldn't be able to return them so I chocked it up as a $150 lesson.

We love EVERYTHING we have ever bought from the Wood Carte which now includes our wonderful living room furniture. With a small space we needed furniture that would be very comfortable, but not bulky. This set is perfect! The choices of fabric, wood types and stains allowed me to easily put together a custom color palette to compliment the room decor. The knowledgeable staff were patient and very helpful. It won't be the last time we shop at the Wood Carte! Very satisfied!

I purchased a kitchen table and chairs about 4 years ago. One of my chairs had loosened up so I brought it back to the fine people at the wood carte. They sent my chair out to be repaired or replaced and said it would be back by the end of the week 3 days later I got a call that my chair was ready for pick up they had replaced my chair free of charge !! The Wood Carte sells a lot of Amish made furniture. They have both finished and unfinished furniture for fairly reasonable prices. The Wood Carte 2 next door focuses on outdoor furniture. The staff are helpful and they have a extensive variety of furniture and housewares for sale. Their showroom is well decorated and laid out.

My husband and I took a ride to Queensbury on a cold grey day, to visit the Wood Carte Furniture store. What a great place. Nice and helpful staff. The furniture is quality made by the Amish. Most pieces you can have made by your dementions . They will check on that for you.My husband bought me a Oak glider chair and it fit in the SUV. That was a total surprise. I suggest if your up that way , you stop in and see what they have. Great large tables and beautiful wood color stain collection.

Nice furniture

Dining tables here are beautiful. And it's all real wood. And there's lots more.

The staff was very helpful and the furniture looked great and was finished just the way we' asked. It's when we got it home that the problems began. The door on the TV stand broke...revealing old plastic clasps that held the panel in. It should have at least been glued - the door was not one piece, but two. There are gouges in the drawers of the end table revealing that the builders used less than the best pieces for the drawer bottoms. Thirdly, although the finish is beautiful, the wood is very soft - a fingernail can put a deep scratch into the table top. Not good for something that is supposed to stand up to everyday usage. We dropped a coaster on the table top that had stuck to a glass due to moisture, and it put a deep gouge into the table top. Pine is too soft to be used for furniture and we'd hoped the protective finishing we'd paid for would add hardness to it, but it obviously did not. Finally, nail holes that had been puttied and finished are now beginning to show depressions in the wood. Overall-the furniture looks good, but I'm afraid it will not be durable. This is disappointing and because of the durability issue we will probably not buy furniture from the Wood Carte again.

We recently treated ourselves to an Amish bedroom set from the Woode Carte. Prior to purchasing, we had shopped around from Albany up to Queensbury. While we saw some very nice Amish furniture, nothing could compare to what we saw at this store. I cannot say enough about the quality of the product and also the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. It took about 8 weeks for our set to be built. Once the furniture was picked up, they set it up in their warehouse and we were asked to come in and inspect it. We then had The Woode Carte deliver it for us, and it was well worth the delivery cost. Each piece was carefully wrapped in blankets and plastic, and they were very efficient and careful about bringing it upstairs and setting it up. This is a store where the small details are important. We will definitely be returning there for our next furniture purchase.

We stopped at The Wood Carte in Queensbury on Saturday, March 8th looking for an unique coffee table. We had just remodeled our living room with beams on the ceiling and knotty pine paneling on the walls. I found an Amish made walnut top/twing bottom coffee table that was perfect. It was high quality and good price. There are other numerous pieces that are Amish made in the store. We will certainly go back for more items. Love the store. People are friendly and very accommodating.

I love all the beds, chairs, and tables that are made out of wood and I also like the keyboards and mouse at the check out that are made of wood too. People were very friendly and helped us when we had questions that needed answered. The place was pretty big too.
